The map is a tile grid: every state is the same size so smaller states stay readable, which means it is not drawn to geographic scale. Territories such as Guam appear in the table but not on the map. Pound-for-pound uses the DOTS coefficient; a state needs at least one full-power entry with a recorded total to be ranked pound-for-pound on a single lift.
