Federation Rules
Powerlifting records depend on the federation that recognized them: each fed defines its own weight classes, age divisions, equipment categories, and drug-testing policy. The pages below summarize those definitions for every major federation, with citations to the federation's own published rulebook.
How these pages are sourced
Each page is built from the federation's currently published rulebook (PDF or HTML, depending on the federation). Every section carries a citation to the source document, the section number where the rule appears, and the date the citation was last verified. If the federation updates its rulebook and a page falls out of date, the citation will show an older retrieval date until the page is refreshed.
Rule prose is descriptive, not authoritative: for any binding question (record eligibility, equipment approval, doping rules) the federation's own document is the source of truth, and the citation links go straight to it.
